Al Green - How Can You Mend A Broken Heart

Girl on Sunday

Beautiful, brunette AND In&Out? game over

Hung out in Orange County yesterday with the fam. Ate in Westminster/Little Saigon inside the Asian Garden Mall. Traffic is easily more horrible than 99 Ranch in Alhambra 10 fold, no joke. Overall, pretty chill day kickin' it with the bro and my cousin.

Goapele - Closer

Yesterday was the annual Conference meeting for the Retail division at work. It was pretty sweet. I won $100 so it wasn't bad. Afterwards, they shut down Lucky Strike for us so that was pretty cool, haven't bowled in ages OR shot pool. But the best part was hitting up a little after-party @ Lighthouse bar in Hermosa? or maybe it was Redondo? whatever. It was 'Reggae' night so the music was chill and I was with good company. Glad I went out.

I'm finding myself becoming a loyal customer to Trader Joe's. Not sure why I'm willing to pay for overpriced crap. It could be because there's a bunch of random shit I'm buying I don't normally eat or the fact that there's a ridiculous amount of cute girls crammed into one small space. Either way, I'm addicted to their various Hummus dips, specifically the Spicy Hummus. Damn good.

Amel Larrieux - For Real

Finally saw Avatar today. Actually surprised since I didn't think I was going to enjoy 3-D. Can't front though, some of the effects got me. I was trying to swat away imaginary bugs/lint, Captain E.O. style.

Chilled out in Pasadena last night. Tried to come up on a shoe deal at Banana Republic but of course, all sold out. But I did robocop an Hermés-type of scarf at Zara, 50% off, holla! Cute girl helping me out also. Finished the night with some overpriced sangria with a good meal at 1810. Second time visiting, Yelp review worthy.

Some more fit pics from this week, gotta love Sambas

Misfits - Ghouls Night Out

Finally, it feels more like winter even though it's January. My Samba's came in and I'll probably rock them tomorrow. Pretty damn busy at work this week. Spent 45 minutes on the phone with the HelpDesk and then waited another hour just for them to tell me that all of my formulas were completely wiped out in my Excel file and I have to reformat everything again. Awesomeness. But at least I got to rock my new Varvatos slips I waited almost 3 years to buy until the price seemed more justifiable.

Might go to a Kings game tomorrow or finally watch Avatar. Who knows.

Kaskade - 4 AM

And just like that, the weekend is over. It's all good though. Saw Sherlock Holmes yesterday. Pretty good movie. Only downside is I walked out of the theater into the rain. Thank you unexpected weather. All good.

I love the rain just not the horrible drivers that come with it. Looking forward to the rain all this week.

What to robocop, the Samba

or the Superstar 80s

Both are fly and iconic in their own right. Leaning towards the Samba, especially since they upgraded it with a shorter tongue for those non-Pele skilled athletes.

Perfect Summer shoe for sure.

Friend was in town yesterday so we stopped by Marc by Marc so she could robocop a bag. We stopped by Fred Segal and I spontaneously robocopped a pair of rag & bone (RB Model ???) and Kicking Mule Workshop 1980 jeans. Finally found an APC replacement. Rocked them right out the store. Practically suffocated trying to break in the KMW's at The Grove. The Grove is like a magnet for beautiful women it's ridiculous.

gotta go sockless

It's not that cold to wear socks. Doesn't even feel like winter and Spring is around the corner. Gotta love JV Purcell's.

Didn't do much for NYE. However, it was the first time I have been single on NYE in 5 years. Went to Crazy Hook in K-Town with 2 good friends and had a lot of fun. Needless to say, there was no make out session of any kind with any ladies. But there was massive soju shots and beer guzzling.

I did however purchase the new Tom Ford for Men cologne since my Dsquared Wood ran out. It'll be an instant panty dropper with the ladies (probably not but there's always hope). I like it and that's all that matters.

My first load of laundry is done and it's time to finish up Season 5 of ...Lost.
